


DUNIA (WORLD) YOUTH FESTIVAL
A FREE event on Sunday May 28th from 12-5PM at Gene Leahy Mall in downtown Omaha!
This multicultural inaugural festival is to reach Youth in middle school, high school, and early college years. It is youth centered and driven, focusing on empowerment, and celebration of the diversity represented in our community.
AFROMAHA is partnering with organizations that serve youth such as Prairie STEM, The Great Academy, Rose Theater, Heartland Workforce Solutions, House of Afros, Capes and Curls, STEM AHA, No More Empty Pots, ROSS Leaders, Metro Community College, the Hispanic Art Center of Omaha, Children's Museum, Midlands African Chamber, and others, who will offer information, resources, and interactive activities! There will be music and performances, and food trucks selling food representing different continents.
